Cookie Policy

How National Career Education handles optional Analytics and Advertising tracking.

    Regional tracking choices

In opt-in and strict fallback locations, Analytics and Advertising stay off unless you allow them. In the United States they may begin only after the website verifies its regional policy, and you can opt out immediately using Your Privacy Choices in the website or landing-page footer. No automatic banner appears only after a verified U.S. opt-out-default policy. Global Privacy Control keeps Advertising off; Analytics remains a separate choice. An unavailable or unrecognized policy always fails closed.

    Preference storage

The versioned preference cookie records the NCE site and policy versions, separate Analytics and Advertising choices, decision dates, and whether you saved from the banner or settings. It contains no name, contact details, browser analytics ID, URL, referrer, campaign value, or form entry. On HTTPS it uses Secure, SameSite=Lax, Path=/, and no Domain attribute. The current retention period is 180 days.

    Attribution and URLs

When Analytics is permitted, NCE may retain only an allowlisted set of UTM and advertising click-ID values. Stored first-party URLs omit query strings and fragments. Provider-facing page locations retain only allowlisted campaign parameters, and advertising click IDs require Advertising permission.

    Change or withdraw your choice

You can change either category at any time. Withdrawing a category stops future browser tracking for that purpose and clears its optional browser state. It does not erase information you intentionally submitted through a form or records collected before withdrawal. Advertising withdrawal also blocks future server conversion delivery under that authorization; already delivered measurement events cannot be retracted. This does not change calls/texts consent. Contact NCE for requests concerning CRM records not linked to this browser.
